What is the Chamber and how does it help business?
The Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit business advocacy and membership organization that helps provide a voice for Salinas Valley businesses through public policy, member-to-member connections and professional development. While the chamber works closely with the City officials, the Chamber is a separate organization that has no affiliation with the City of Salinas. The Chamber is committed to organizing our community to help make the Salinas Valley a better place to live, work and play.
How do I find out if my company is a member or find other members?
Not sure if your company is a Chamber member? Please search our online business directory. You may search by business category, keyword or company name. You may also contact firstname.lastname@example.org or (831) 751-7725.
How do I update my online directory listing?
Contact email@example.com or (831) 751-7725. You will need your chamber issued user name and password.
How can my company get exposure through the Chamber?
The Chamber offers many opportunities to make new connections and build relationships for your business. You may sponsor an event and expose your brand to potential clients. Promoting your business through our member directory and offering special discounts to fellow members is also an excellent way to increase the exposure of your business. Purchase Ad Space in our Word to the Member – Chamber Headlines e-newsletter, Member Message e-blast, purchase ad banners on our website or through our astonishing Salinas Valley Business Journal (newspaper and online publication) which reaches more than 20,000 people. Take advantage of the numerous marketing opportunities offered by the Chamber.
Who can attend Chamber events?
Our events are open to member and prospective members (guests). However, we do limit the number of times a guest can attend.

You can find out about Chamber events through our Calendar of Events or through our monthly e-blasts which is emailed to Chamber members.
Who can be a Chamber volunteer?
Anyone who is an employee of any Chamber member may volunteer to serve on a committee or help with a program.

Our membership includes small businesses, entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, large companies, economic development groups, public and private schools, universities and more.
