    Transportation Agency for Monterey County

    The Transportation Agency for Monterey County is looking for proposals from qualified consultants to complete the environmental review of the Salinas-San Jose Coast Rail Line. This environmental review will consist of a project-level environmental document, in keeping with the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The 68-mile rail corridor between Salinas and San Jose will be reviewed for potential improvements to support two passenger rail projects, the Coast Daylight (Pacific Surfliner trains) and the Rail Extension to Monterey County (Capitol Corridor trains).
